UNLOC SOIL CONDITIONER

Soil Problems. Recent studies show that soil compaction has become a major problem in crop production because it contributes to, Decreased water retention: Slow water movement through the soil profile: reduced pore space for aeration, root development and expansion: Reduced soil and plant metabolic processes. The effects of UNLOC on soil: Soil is made of negatively charged colloides (very fine particles). In compacted soil, these fine particles have bonded with the positively charged hydrogen element of water. The compacted zone obstructs applied water from moving into the soil. The components of UNLOC are soil amending agents which effect changes in the surface tension of hydroscopic water in soil. The chemigation of spray application of UNLOC to soil frees the hydrogen bond and releases the colloidal particles to move and create micropores. This dynamic process is synergized by gravity and moves water into the soil profile. The unique UNLOC soil stimulant catalyzes soil and plant metabolism at the root zone, which has shown to enhance aeration and improve fertilizer and water efficiency. Effects of UNLOC on soil microbiology: It has been realised recently that soil microbiology plays a significant role in a plants life cycle. V.A.M, for example, is a fungi which forms a symbiotic relationship with plants, increasing their ability to obtain nutrients. UNLOC works by greatly increasing the number of beneficial bacteria and fungi in the soil as it provides for them, in an accessible form, massive amounts of oxygen and nutrients. The fungi diameter is greater in UNLOC treated soil and everything is more active. This allows for a much more efficient plant nutrient uptake and also helps to improve drainage, (bigger hyphie diameter means more porous soil). Effects of UNLOC on plants: Behind the hard tip of a root is the soft white part of the root that is clothed in minute hair roots, composed of a single cell and almost invisible to the naked eye. Although water can be absorbed by older parts of the root, it is these minute hair roots that absorb most of the water and more importantly the nutrients that the plants need due to their large combined surface area. Root hair production is stimulated by moisture and oxygen. The absorption of water takes place by osmosis. Oxygen is vitally important in growth of hair roots which is why we are getting such good root growth with the application of UNLOC and hence plant growth. Summary: improved soil structure and nutrient uptake leads to an increase in plant growth rate and health, and reduced nutrient and water runoff because of an increase in the ability of the soil to hold the nutrients and the plants to absorb them. This can directly translate into cost savings and profit gain. Reduced nutrient and water runoff equals reduced cost of irrigation and nutrient additives.
